Cracker Barrel Old Country Store in Melbourne

Service was great and staff was friendly. The wait with social distancing was not bad today. They do not have toast or vegetables so no omlettes but not their fault after being shut down for a while.

Most everything is good at cracker barrel. Can't go wrong with their breakfast. Good lunch too. Chicken n dumplings and the fried chicken dinner are a hit.

This place have the best meals ever for the lowest cost it took a min to get my food but overall everything was great

Excellent service! Anna, our waitress, was kind, fun, and super quick. We didn't have to ask for anything. She was super attentive. Food was delicious, warm, and made to order! It was definitely one of the cleaner Cracker Barrel establishments that I've had the pleasure of visiting.

The server was great, food was good except for the biscuits and gravy. Gravy was disgusting.

Waitress was very nice and kept her eye out for drink refills before we even noticed. Food was delicious. Decor was standard for a Cracker Barrel which fits the environment very well. Gift shop had lots of random things to choose from.

Even though they were really busy on a Sunday & President's Day week end, it took less than 10 minutes for the 2 of us to be seated. The pot roast was fall apart tender. The side salad was fresh & crisp, the biscuits were warm & delicious & they kept our iced tea glasses topped off! Our food came fast & hot. Even tho they were busy, we never felt rushed. Service was excellent & everyone from waitress, hostess too cashier was friendly & took time to talk or greet us! Cracker Barrel is our favorite place to meet!

Love the food and environment, but the lady who answered the phone this morning was VERY rude. I understand it is busy, but I’ve worked in the food industry too and there is NO reason to respond to a simple question like that. Might want to reconsider who is answering the phone there. Will not be returning to this location because of that.

One of the few places that I could spend more than 20 minutes just looking around. There is so much to look at in the general store, it is just packed with stuff everywhere, all over the place. A number of items here can only be found at cracker barrel and that makes it even more interesting.

We stopped on our way home from family vacation. Plenty of parking for our truck and camper. Great service! Great food! Will definitely stop again if we pass by. Thank you!!

I was surprised today with the restaurant. The service was exceptionally slow, the food was lukewarm, the cornbread and biscuits were horrible. I needed another napkin and walked around trying to get someone's attention; a manager finally stopped to ask what I needed. The server was friendly though, and the raspberry sweet tea was spot on!

Beautiful Christmas gifts at cracker barrel, reduced prices, delicious comfort food, helpful friendly staff. Love this place!!!

I love this place!Went several times with my co-worker during a business trip to Melbourne. The service is very good and the employees are lovely. Never got disappointed with the food and the price!

Good homeish style cooking at a not to bad price. The southern fried turkey was great.

I can't wait to go back with my wife & eat the haddock.. her favorite is the trout, my son's favorite is the steak. I'm getting hungry writing this post LOL

Worst experience.... never have felt such homophobia from a Cracker Barrel. Rose the cashier decided to bring up how women who dress more masculine are a disappointment and a shame as we were paying. Since walking to the register is your last experience at Cracker Barrel we felt very disgusted with the attitude and unnecessary comments received. We did NOT walk around the gift shop because we felt disrespected. I understand people have different opinions but confronting customers on a date night was un called for...

Food was excellent. Felt comfortable with the distancing and workers in masks.

Great food and wonderful service. They have also done a magnificent job of following the Covid cleaning regulations and making you feel safe when you eat there.

We love Cracker Barrel! My choice for Mothers Day dinner. Order curbside pickup. Waited 20 minutes after letting them know we were at the curbside pickup area. Finally went in and our order was sitting on the counter practically cold. They could have cared less. After we get home and microwaving our cold food. We realize that some of our meals were wrong. Won't be doing this again!!!

Nice and clean. Good food. Very good table service. A little too much service in the store area as I was approached FOUR TIMES in less than 15 mins by a sales associate in the country store which made it less enjoyable and actually discouraged me from purchasing.

We go to CB's all the time and love them. This one let us down. The food was great but the service was not. We got our meal in a timely manner BUT it literally took 10 - 15 minutes to get the check after repeatedly asking for it. Finally had to get the manager to get it.

Fl locations opened at 35%, now 25%. The employees are all wearing masks & one young lady was disinfecting the plastic menus after every use. A nice variety of home-cooked type great tasting meal options that are somewhat limited due to the pandemic. The staff are always pleasant & anxious to help. Their country store is absolutely wonderful with a warm, country atmosphere where you can shop while enjoying country music in the background. Needless to say, we go "at least" twice a month!

What can i say...we like CB and also like to stop overnight once in awhile. If stopping, we always eat once or twice in 24 hours. Food is generally good. Can hardly go wrong.

Terrible experience! We waited for 10 minutes at the hostess station, no help or anyone to be seen. There weren't many people dining either. 2 ladies at the cashier, neither are helping or stating someone will be with you. Finally we were seated & didn't see a waitress for some time. We finally left as we realized they clearly weren't interested in serving us. Never been happier to take our business elsewhere!

We had great service. Our assigned server was busy with another table and a coworker quickly came over to get us started and take our order. Top notch service... And the turkey n' dressing was excellent!

Stopped in to buy a gift. Wore a mask. Everyone was very kind and helpful. Social distance and middle register closed. Hand sanitizer available.

The food was good, the service could have been better. Our server was nice but we didn't get water and had to ask for salt (not on table) and napkins. Not a big deal and overall everything was good just not great.

Everything you'd expect at crackerbarrel. If you've never been this is a great time to try it. Everyone should go at least once. It's definitely a spot for heavy hitting southern comfort food. The eclectic store always has something I don't need but would like to have for no reason other than its nice quality stuff. You can even get Charles Chips here, often in the can!!

Drove 10 miles with a call in pickup..825p.m. country fried steak was tough and all together tooo well done ..okra burnt and lima beans about two table spoons thats all ... The peach cobbler was 6 peach pieces and some juice didnt even fill half of the container they put it in ...and we got two orders.and both the same.. I have always ate inside and have gone to r he cracker barrel of wickham in Melbourne fl a couple times a month and now im done with the take iut cause you get all the way home and open your bag and trash. Oh well never again.

I work at a different barrel so I know what is expected. I visited this barrel tonight and trust me it was definitely not up to par or the what is normally expected. Disaster struck as soon as we walked in the door to the hostess stand. The hostess had her back to us sanitizing menus. Even a manager walked by and didn’t say anything. Once we received our food I immediately had to send my steak back because it was extra rare when I ordered medium. Once I got to the register I was asked how my food and service was which was nice. But when I didn’t answer the cashier didn’t even offer to get a manager. The server kept forgetting everything we asked for. I can honestly say I will continue to go to my barrel because of how disappointed I was in the food and the service.
